AeroInnovate 2009 slated for May 13 & 14, 2009 (08/11/08)
CFI announced today that it will host its first ever industry/venture conference.  The innaugural AeroInnovate event will be held May 13-14, 2009.  AeroInnovate is a unique forum that will bring aerospace innovators from around the world to Oshkosh.  The forum will identify partners and investors and in the process establish Northeast Wisconsin as an international center of aerospace innovation.  AeroInnovate will be a community-driven forum, with the aerospace community itself deciding, via an interactive Web 2.0 web site, which innovators they most want to see at AeroInnovate 2009.

EAA will host the kick-off reception and dinner on May 13th, followed by the forum at the Univeristy of Wisconsin Oshkosh (Reeve Memorial Union) on May 14th.

Nth Penguin confirmed as next Crucible Presenter -  August 19th (7/28/08)
Nth Penguin has agreed to present their business plan at the next Crucible luncheon to be held on August 19, 2008.  The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am at the Butte des Morts Country Club, Appleton.   The Crucible is a venture luncheon where an early-stage, high-impact entrepreneurial team is invited to pitch their business plan to a select panel of HIB investors and a studio audience.  The panel will be just as tough on the presenting team as they would be in private - no holds barred!  After all, someone is asking to use their money.  For more information on The Crucible, click here.
